David Cook

David Cook is Principal of Sydney Missionary and Bible College (SMBC) and Director of the SMBC School of Preaching. He is a regular speaker at Christian conventions throughout Australia and overseas and lectures in preaching and pastoral subjects at SMBC.

David is married to Maxine and loves spending time with his five adult children and eleven grandchildren when they (and he) are in the country. When travelling overseas, he is partial to visiting local eating places to enjoy the culture and cuisine.

Some of David’s favourite pastimes include drinking coffee in Leichhardt; watching rugby (both kinds) and cricket; ensuring the pH of his pool is balanced and watching comedy shows like Doc Martin and Everybody Loves Raymond. He does a great impression of a grumpy old man!
